This element is constructed of 100% Polypropylene. It contains a graded density Polypropylene microfiber filter medium that provides a tapered pore structure. It delivers superior flow rates and high throughput, with absolute micron & submicron particulate retention and high dirt holding capacity. It is designed as a prefilter in front of membrane filters or as a low cost alternative to membrane based final filters.

It provides the greatest assurance of filtration performance, stability and service life for sterile filtration and microbial stabilisation. The Polyethersulfone membrane is inherently hydrophilic and distinguishes itself by having an asymmetrically designed pore structure. The pore size steadily decreases towards the center of the medium resulting in a highly porous structure. This extremely durable design matins consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout its service life without shedding or unloading contaminations. The Polyethersulfone membrane is inherently hydrophillic and distinguishes itself by having an asymmetrically designed pore structure. The pore size stradily decreases towards the centre of the medium resulting in a highly porous structure. this extremely durable design maintains consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout its service life without shedding or unloading contaminations. Pleated Depth Polypropylene Filter

This filter element was specifically developed for maximum safety, performance and economics in protecting bottled water and soft drinks from Cryptosporidum and Giardia contamination. It has been approved per NSF Standard 53 as an absolute barrier to Cryptosporidum and Giardia in portable and drinking water applications. It also complies with the CDC/EPA recommendation for using absolute-rated 1µm filters to control Cryptosporidium in drinking water. It contains a self-bonded microfibre filter medium composed of multiple layers of successively finer fibres and smaller pores. This highly porous, tapered pore structure provides superior flow rate and high throughputs, while maintaining an extraordinary dirt holding capacity.

LifeTec PT N
Sterile grade pleated high performance PTFE membrane filter

It provides the greatest assurance of filtration performance, stability and durability against chemicals even under severe process conditions. The PTFE filter medium in inherently hydrophobic with a highly porous membrane structure. This ensures high flow rates and a high absorption of particles during the entire service life time. The end caps and the PTFE membrane are thermally welded without the use of binders. This results in an integral filter cartridge which provides maximum durability range against chemicals with minimal extractables.
